Gravity Can is powered by a small and dedicated team of talented young designers, marketing specialists and experienced web technicians. Most of our team members are in full time higher education, enabling them to bring the latest knowledge and fresh ideas to their work.
Our team is primarily based in the East Midlands and all of our team members work remotely from their own homes, collaborating online. To keep everything running like clockwork we have frequent face to face meetings and team building activities.
Our Managing Director
Gravity Can is directed and managed by young entrepreneur and student, Sam Smith. At 23 years of age Sam has a staggering eight years of commercial experience in the web and design industry (including five years with a popular hosting and internet marketing company) and a diploma in Visual Communication. Along with an active and dynamic role within the company, Sam is also on his way to achieving a degree in Computer Science at the University of Lincoln.
Sam’s Story… Sam has always had a passionate interest for computers and the arts. He has been creating websites since secondary school and hasn’t looked back. At the age of sixteen he started trading for the first time as Host4Leicester, providing hosting and design services to the local area. However he decided the best way to expand his knowledge and skills would be to join an existing company. In 2004 Sam was employed as a web designer and trainee SEO for Easy Internet. During his time with the company he became a senior member of the team and worked directly with the owners to develop new innovative services. In 2008 Sam decided to pursue his education further, but continued to work remotely for the company on an advisory level.
Sam has an active role at Gravity Can and has input in every project supported by our experienced and vibrant team.
